Charles Hilger, MSW, LADC, is the Chief Operating Officer for White Earth Nation’s Urban Behavioral Health Programs. He is also the President of Hilger Behavioral Health Consultants which focuses on regulatory compliance for licensed SUD/MH programs and organizational leadership and development. He is a graduate of St. Thomas University’s Master of Social Work program and former adjunct faculty at Argosy University’s Master of Clinical Psychology program. He has 29 years of counseling and administrative experience leading behavioral health programs. He presents regularly at conferences, workshops and academic institutions and collaborates with community groups and providers to educate about SUD/MH recovery approaches. Mr. Hilger serves as the Past President of the MN Assoc. of Resources and Recovery in Chemical Health (MARRCH) and as treasurer for NAMA Recovery, and Anything Helps, a Mpls. based Recovery Community Organization. He has experience working with state advisory committees and national advocacy boards and is a former Vice Chair of the Veterans Mental Health Advisory Committee at the VA hospital Mpls.
